This cloud based solution allows our staff to be alerted if any of your databases have not been backed on time, or backups have failed for whatever reason. We often come across missed backups where DBAs have accidentally disabled schedulers, or accounts have expired, and in these situations, failed backups don’t generate alerts, and successful backups don’t generate status emails because they don’t run at all. Our software prevents this, we manage backups from a much higher level and it’s centrally managed via our Dashboard. It’s very much like a backup and recovery heartbeat!
